Local Hero

Local Hero is a program of Communities Involved in Sustaining Agriculture (CISA). CISA is a 501(c)(3) organization that has been working to promote locally produced farm products in the Pioneer Valley since 1993. The Be a Local Hero, Buy Locally Grown® public relations campaign is the longest-running series of its kind in the nation. The Local Hero program has helped farms, small businesses, and retailers across the region make the Pioneer Valley one of the most vibrant local agricultural areas to be found anywhere.
